Together, the two created the first ever pen made in forged carbon by perfecting the technology required to adapt forged carbon for fine writing instruments.

The carbon fiber used is a fabric of thin fibers held together by a resin. Pineider’s unique process for handling the material results in a lightweight, resistant material that is strong in every direction.

The Pineider La Grande Bellezza Forged Carbon Fiber fountain pen also features the Quill Nib, the 14kt gold nib designed in 2017. The Quill nib is specifically designed to be ultraflexible, and have an excellent memory. The flex nib is made for every writer rather than specifically for calligraphists.
